Usually when you dream about danger, your subconscious is trying to warn you about something. Your unconscious mind is very powerful and intuitive so it picks up on certain things in your life that you may not understand in reality. This is why it releases it when you are sleeping and so dreaming of danger has a purpose which can scare or excite you but be aware of it. When your dream of danger is frightening it means your unconscious is warning you to be cautious in your walking life and pay attention to things even if it is not as striking as in your dreams. If you dream about taking an adventure with exciting danger which makes you ecstatic or even escape from the danger, it means you are yearning for some risk taking and you crave more of a thrill in your walking life. You may have sensed something is about to happen while being conscious and you anticipate the adventure whether it be personal or a promotion at work. Dreaming about witnessing another person in danger you are attentive to the fact that the person needs you to offer your help or you must save him or her, indicates you have a hunch that someone is really in danger. Conversely, when the person is in danger but you are useless and unable to assist that person in peril, it represents anxiety in your walking life. You are a pessimist and scared that something bad is about to happen and you feel worried or maybe hopeless about the situation and your future.

If you do not have a daughter but dream of one, think of yourself as the daughter because she represents your youthfulness. Pay attention to your attitude in particular in the dream since it would tell you whether it means you need guidance or you are receiving too much guidance which could cause rebellious behavior.
